Seasons
Greetings!
The year flashed by at light speed. It was our first
year in our new community of Ellensburg, Washington.
This was a great move to live in a town were there
are only fifteen thousand folks. Rush hour traffic
is two cars at a stop sign. What a pleasant change
from Northern Virginia.
Not only is it a new city it is a new home. We have
planted ten fruit trees in our back yard and built
a series of raised bed for our garden next year. We
also planted a Norwegian Maple for shade in the front
yard.
This summer Willow Jeane and other members of our family
joined me in a dream trip
to Africa. We went to see
the animals and the people in Tanzania and Kenya. We
were able to see thousands of animals in the wild and
it was an unforgettable visit.
2006 we signed an agreement with Public Television
to broadcast our Mad Cowboy Documentary. The documentary
was also honored at the Activist Film Festival in Los
Angeles as the winning
animal documentary.
My travel schedule in 2007 will be changed because
of moving to the West Coast. The long flight to the
East Coast is not a thing I’m looking toward
doing very often. I’m scheduled in New York City
on the first and fifteenth of April. I plan to stay
on the East Coast and Central part of the country for
the first three weeks of April. I will be accepting
additional events with significant travel savings for
groups willing to schedule while I’m on this
trip.
2006 was a year that was filled with events where hundreds
of dedicated supporters helped to share the message
of health, environment, and animal concerns. My success
on the road would have been severely limited without
the tireless support of friends all over North America.
I want to acknowledge their help and thank each and
every one of them for their commitment to the cause.
Your friend,
Howard
